Peter Chang has returned to Atlanta with just one thought, opening a new resturant that bears his name and serves authentic Chinese cuisine.
Peter Chang is an award winning chef specializing in Szechwan cuisine, he has cooked for several restaurants in the American southeast. Chang was born in Hubei Province and received his training in China. He has cooked a meal for the current Chinese president, Hu Jintao. He moved to the United States to work as the chef at the Chinese Embassy in Washington, D.C. Chang has become known as the disappearing chef and has inspired groups of fans to follow his movements through Internet discussion boards, such as DonRockwell.com and Chowhound.
Our service goal to ensure that all of our guests leave full and happy. We strive daily to anticipate the needs of our clientele and to take care of those needs before they have to ask. We strive to employ young, energetic, outgoing waitresses and waiters.
Our restaurant is famous for Szechwan food that burst with many flavors; hot and numbing, spicy, sweet and sour. Every dish has its own unique flavor. Szechwan is a Province in the mountainous district in the center of China. The main ingredients of Szechwan food are mountain produce and river fish with red hot peppers, garlic and ginger. We also offer less-spicy food choices for people whodo not enjoy spicy dishes.
We are sad to announce that we will be closing for good after dinner service Sunday, November 2. Thank you for 5 great years! We hope to see you at Tasty China in Marietta and at Jia opening in Midtown early next year.
